Volunteer

YOU CAN make a difference in your community by volunteering at GHP FISH. GHP FISH is led by volunteers. Our volunteers work in a variety of areas.

Have questions? Feel free to mail us!

If you’re 16 or older and looking for a meaningful way to give back, we’d love to have you join us at the food bank. We’re currently looking for student volunteers to help with day-to-day operations, from sorting and stocking food to assisting with distribution. It’s a hands-on way to support neighbors in need, build real-world skills, and be part of something that makes a real difference in the community.

Our volunteers:

  • Help clients with much-needed food

  • Help restock and maintain the food bank

  • Pick up food at participating businesses and deliver to the food bank

  • Join the Financial Aid team and work from home one week per month, interviewing clients for possible financial assistance. Training provided

  • Plan or participate in community events

  • Provide expertise to clients and to volunteers working behind the scenes in communications, grant writing, human resources, and related areas.

  • Participate in food or fund collection drives in the community
