If you’re 16 or older and looking for a meaningful way to give back, we’d love to have you join us at the food bank. We’re currently looking for student volunteers to help with day-to-day operations, from sorting and stocking food to assisting with distribution. It’s a hands-on way to support neighbors in need, build real-world skills, and be part of something that makes a real difference in the community.
Our volunteers:
Help clients with much-needed food
Help restock and maintain the food bank
Pick up food at participating businesses and deliver to the food bank
Join the Financial Aid team and work from home one week per month, interviewing clients for possible financial assistance. Training provided
Plan or participate in community events
Provide expertise to clients and to volunteers working behind the scenes in communications, grant writing, human resources, and related areas.
Participate in food or fund collection drives in the community
