YOU CAN make a difference in your community by volunteering at GHP FISH. GHP FISH is led by volunteers. We can use new volunteers in a variety of areas.

It takes many volunteers to run our services and programs and our organizational needs fluctuate throughout the year. Currently, we are seeking and placing volunteers in the following prioritized roles:

• Monthly Store Food Drives – Safeway & Fred Meyer
• Van & Truck Drivers - for store donation pick-ups
• Community Event Support

We need volunteers to

  • Help clients with much-needed food

  • Help restock and maintain the food bank

  • Pick up food at participating businesses and deliver to food bank

  • Join the Financial Aid team and work from home one week per month interviewing clients for possible financial assistance. Training provided.

  • Plan or participate in community events

  • Provide your expertise to clients and to volunteers working behind the scenes in communications, grant writing, human resources, etc.

  • Participate in food or fund collection drives in the community

Volunteer on regular basis

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! If you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis, please fill out the Online Volunteer Application. A WSP background check will be conducted and you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss availability.

Under 18? You'll need permission from a parent or guardian and we've got a form for you too!
