Key Peninsula Livable Community Fair
The Key Peninsula Civic Center Livable Community Fair is a family-friendly, collaborative event made possible thanks to dedicated exhibitors, generous sponsors, amazing volunteers, and great local organizations. The event draws hundreds of attendees of all ages from the Key Peninsula, Gig Harbor, and nearby areas.
NALC Stamp Out Hunger
Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect the goodness and compassion of their postal customers, who participate in the NALC Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation. Carriers collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes and in post offices and deliver them to local community food banks such as GHP FISH. We appreciate their annual food drive to support GHP FISH.

Gig Harbor Maritime Festival & Parade
The Maritime Gig Festival is the highlight of summer in Gig Harbor! This cherished weekend tradition fills the waterfront with energy, excitement, and community connection. The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce parade is an annual celebration of the community in which we live, highlighting our rich history, traditions, and economic vitality. Spectators are welcome to line up anywhere along the parade route to watch. The 2026 Maritime Gig Festival Parade theme is “Stars and Stripes.”
GHP FISH 50th Anniversary Celebration
GHP FISH is throwing a birthday party, and you’re invited. There’ll be free family-friendly fun and games as we look back on 50 years of service and forward to continuing to be neighbors helping neighbors. We appreciate our community’s support and look forward to celebrating with you.

Windemere is hosting a LeMay Mobile Shredding event at their Soundview offices, 5801 Soundview Drive, Gig Harbor, WA. Participants are encouraged to bring food or donations for GHP FISH. GHP FISH will be present to receive any donations.

Gig Harbor's Lighted Car Parade 2025
The Gig Harbor Lighted Car Parade and Santa's Village is held on the third Saturday in December every year. This year marks the sixth year of this spectacular event. Watch for the highly decorated GHP FISH van prepared and driven by one of our volunteers, Kevin Jacobsen.
GHP FISH Toy Drive
Toy Drive is a large community partnership including local businesses and organizations, Gig Harbor LIONS Club, Ocean 5, PenMet Parks, local Girl Scouts, and many more. The Toy Drive gathers gifts for children ages 1 – 17 years old for families experiencing financial hardship. Registration for families will begin November 12.
Gig Harbor Cruisers
The Cruisers travel around Gig Harbor showing off their cars and collecting food and toys for GHP FISH. Watch for them.
Gig Harbor Turkey Trot
In 2002, Dr. Holmes' oldest son challenged him to run a marathon with him. From that simple beginning has evolved into an annual event with thousands of participants.

BBQ2U
Build donations for GHP FISH - During the week of November 10 thru 16 eat at BBQ2U in Uptown. Drop your receipt in the bowl. GHP FISH will receive a 10% donation of the total receipts in the bowl.

Gig Harbor Witches Brew
When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ’tis near Halloween.
Grab your broomsticks and join us for the 3rd annual Gig Harbor Witches Brew! Whether you're a budding witch or full blown Sanderson sister, this event is perfect for all skill levels. So, gather your fellow wizards and witches, and let's hit the water.
We will meet at the Gig Harbor boat launch at 2pm and launch shortly after. Paddle through the harbor at your own pace and head to the Gig Harbor Lighthouse.
This year we will be a 'fill the caldron' charitable component to the event! We have officially partnered with GHP FISH this year! I am so excited to raise money and gather needed items for those in need in our community. We will be filling the caldron this year in support of GHP FISH! For more info go to Witches Brew.

Kitsap Credit Union - Gig Harbor Open House
Kitsap Credit Union, 4747 Point Fosdick Dr, is celebrating the remodel of their Gig Harbor Uptown branch with an open house October 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring food or donations for GHP FISH.

Shred to Fed at Kitsap Bank
Kitsap Bank, 4714 Point Fosdick Dr, is pleased to partner with the GHP FISH Food Bank and hosting a Shred Event on Saturday, October 4 from 9 am to Noon at Kitsap Bank’s Gig Harbor Branch. Must make a monetary donation to get your documents shredded. All donations raised at these events will go to supporting the GHP FISH Food Bank. Maximum of 75 pounds of shred per vehicle.

PTSD Pull for a Solder
A competitive trap shoot event that has quickly become a favorite outing for first timers or for those who long to be back out on the range and shoot for fun. Ocean5 Fill The Food Bank
OCEAN5 is hosting a Food Drive fundraiser on Tuesday, September 30, 5-8 pm. Entry Fee is a food donation for GHP FISH per person. Each person will receive a FREE $10 ARCADE PLAY CARD. Additional play for bowling, Topgolf Swing suites and laser challenges can be purchased with all proceeds going to GHP FISH. For information and registration click on Food Drive at Ocean5.

Race For A Soldier is presented by the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation to raise awareness of the challenges faced by our military service members, veterans and first responders living with the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injuries. The Prayer Breakfast presented by Permission to Start Dreaming was created to provide the civilian community and its leaders the privilege of sharing. These sought out and nationally recognized military leaders, first responders and advocates, will share their “stories of life, rebirth and transformation and (the audience) will come to understand and appreciate the human experience at its very best”.
